Rona is also invested in helping people to create meaningful lifestyles and services that take advantage of the knowledge, wisdom and experience of older adults.

Rona S. Bartelstone, LCSW, BCD, CMC, C-ASWCM, is a Master Degree-prepared Social Worker, who has worked in eldercare for more than 35 years. During this time she owned and operated her own care management and homecare company, Rona Bartelstone Associates, from 1981–2008 when she merged with SeniorBridge and became their VP of Care Management.http://ouraging.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=kad_options&tab=14

As a result of her commitment to education, Rona has assumed many roles with educational institutions, including Florida International University, the University of Florida, and NOVA University, to help generate interest and credentialing curriculum in the aging field for emerging professionals.

Rona is active in many community and professional organizations. She is a Founder and  past President (1988-93) of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (NAPGCM), now known as ALCA, and is a Fellow of the NAPGCM Leadership Academy, now known as the ALCA Leadership Academy.

She is also a Founder and Vice President of the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM) an independent, non-profit, credentialing organization. She was a long-time board member of the Greater Miami Alzheimer’s Association Chapter, and chaired its Annual Educational Forum from 1994–1999. In addition, she is a regular presenter at national and international conferences; and has been a regular contributing author to numerous professional publications, and has published two book chapters in professional publications.

Rona has also been featured in many media articles about geriatric care management, including the “Wall Street Journal”, the “New York Times”, “Forbes”, “Money”, “Health”, “Working Woman”, “Ladies Home Journal”, the NBC Nightly News, ABC World Wide News, Your Financial Future with Jonathan Pond, Healthy Living with Dr. Joyce Brothers and the PBS presentation of “And Thou Shalt Honor.”
